Welcome Avid Readers!
It is often so easy to complain, easier to whine about a complicated situation or a nasty fellow merely because things didn't go our way. There are innumerable down-trodden people who are not as privileged as we are.
Even the mighty and popular glitterati brigade isn't happy and lucky in most spheres of their lives and hence we hear about their unfortunate premature and tragic demise.
Have you wondered what the reason could be? It is because they give up. They think about the negative circumstances and overlook the lesson hidden in the problem that could elevate the landscape of their life. The reason is they overlook the positive people who crossed their path, the positive incidents, inspirational moments and the fact that there is still a lot to be grateful for.
If you think you are in a biggest problem, everything is lost and you don't have it all, look upto people who're under-privileged. If you want to move ahead and progress, look upto people who made it big despite stricken by poverty but their only possession was their faith, self-confidence,determination and infectious charismatic positivity. That's because they were grateful for a lot in the face of losing the essentials of their life.
Let us take a few minutes to be grateful to the Divine Power for...(I'm sure you will find your reasons and share with me. My reasons are listed below that hopefully match with most of you)
I am grateful to God for blessing me with creativity, the ability to seek happiness in little things around me, the quality to pull myself back despite a rough weather, a beacon of guiding light within that acts as a hope, a mentor to help me survive and surpass the challenges that only make me stronger and wiser.
I am grateful to God for putting those obstacles, difficult people in my path only to unveil my uniqueness, my brilliance, my potential and the fact that I stand out of the crowd naturally when others are making a desperate attempt for the same. Yes, it could cost a few embarrassments, defeats, failures but in the long run, it acts as an eye-opener to the changing hues of selfish behavior on part of people due to your change in social stature and accomplishments.
I am thankful to God for giving me the ability to look beyond the ordinary, have a keen eye for aesthetics and find the beauty in trivial yet essential elements of our everyday life so they are recognized, appreciated and implemented to fill the void and live a fulfilling life.
I know God has protected me in a million ways I could not even imagine to give me a life of respect, love, power-packed creativity, a new lesson each day, a new recipe, new experiments and prestige. I know God understands my dreams like noone else does, He knows how passionately I have completed myself through my creative streak as he unfolded my passion as a life-purpose. It gives me great relief, emotional gratification, peace and pride in the realization that I am doing the 'right' thing. For me, expressing myself through creativity is like devotion, meditation, liberation and gratitude to the almighty for being kind enough to bear with his silly, perplexed yet pure and favorite child.
Thank you God for everything as I wouldn't have been where I am without your support, respect, understanding , blessings and the list goes on...
If at anytime I feel hopeless about the future or a particular present situation, I look back and recall how far I have come, enriched and evolved. It immediately restores my faith and self-belief. I face the obstacles with optimism and confidence as my 'knight in shining armour'.
"Be grateful for all you have,
even for what you missed..
because your life could be someone else's dream...
chances are you missed or have been rejected at something today because...
God has grand plans for you,
something better is about to come your way..
or you will have an enhanced approach towards achieving your goals.
Believe in God, Believe in your Dreams and Potential"
P.S. This is a letter of Gratitude on behalf of each of us who ought to be grateful to God for everything we have before it is time to appreciate the things we had and yearn for them.
Feel free to share the things you're grateful for. I would love to hear from you.
