Find out if your education is worthwhile

We have embraced the cyber world and globalization with alacrity and arms wide open. There is no dearth of smart, witty and educated people who think the world of themselves to the extent of bogging down others.

Wait a minute! Did I just mention education? Let us be clear about our definition of education, for starters. According to wiktionary,
1) The process or art of imparting knowledge, skill and judgement.
2) Facts, skills and ideas that have been learned either formally or informally.

Well, agree to that. But, since we hear a lot of snobs and smugs boasting about their higher education and harbouring heaps of false superiority complex;  the situation compelled me to discuss this topic across the masses. The knowledge and skills are beyond the bookish education we are so proud of. How about harbouring some sensitivity to understand someone's pain and stop looking at them through resentful or reproachful eyes and start treating them as humans?

My questions are directed towards the people who are mighty complacent and supercilious about their higher educational accomplishments.

Give it a thought: What have you done to be so proud of your credentials? Have you ever fortified a poor old man to allow him a better life? Have you ever brought alive an absolute stranger's gloomy and sombre face? Have you ever tried to develop empathy towards people you despise?

Wonder why you're always ready with a clever and insolent retort to someone innocent enough to be unable to retaliate?  Ever thought, what pleasure do you derive in misjudging people's rumoured stories you're totally oblivious of the actually reality of?

If you have ever made a person feel miserable about his existence then I doubt your educational stature. All of us go through a tough time once in a lifetime. Not everyone is endowed with the luxury of a smooth-sailing life where your needs will be met in the blink of an eye. Even then, you miss out on the critical adventures which are necessary for growth.

My point is, have you ever exploited your pain, miseries, failures, embarrassments and rejections for a noble cause? Don't look perplexed, if that's what you are. Some extraordinary jewels who have been authored have performed this uphill task! Such important people have penned down all the crucial lessons learnt. The elixir of wisdom & intellect drunk after getting badly bruised by cruel hardships, all alone. Just to ensure that nobody else should face all the envy, hostility, scorn, estrangement by leafing through a certain someone's journey of extraordinary trials and tribulations. And it earned them tons of love, warmth, acceptance, encouragement and positivity desperately emerging out of dormant volcano(hearts) like a hot magma and lava for a prosperous and benevolent society.
But without the adversities, we wouldn't be here today. Blessed with the pot-pourri of bitter-sweet life that challenges our patience and will-power at every step.

If there are people who use their pain in such a beautiful manner to express the pure essence of life to eradicate the darkness from distressed lives, they ought to be called well-educated. The presence of empathy, care, respecting a person's journey, caring, supporting a good cause, not judging someone by their face, overheard stories about them, caste, creed, color, qualifications is known as education.
People who had to travel through the dark tunnels of life in a rut know what defeat is like and how is it being looked at scornfully and abandoned to suffer at crossroads.

God forbid, have you ever seen days where you almost gave up and wanted to die, but regained strength and assured yourself to never let this brilliance die a death of anynomity or disgrace ? If you motivated yourself to leave a mark, leave a legacy of a blossoming world behind where you would be engraved as the proud contributor for your nobility, that's how you dream of transcending your existence to the universe for the glorious sleep of ultimate peace and contentment. That's how you elevate your stature and quality of life. I chose my words wisely enough to not call it a death instead addressed it as 'transcending your existence to the universe...'

Next time, before throwing weight around about your so-called achievements, credentials or even financial stature, look within and ask yourself the aforementioned questions and you'll know if you're good enough...oops 'Educated enough' *wink*

Let us spread smiles, literacy, love, care,
respect, peace and harmony as our world needs and deserves more of these essentials than anything superficial. Education is an integral part of our life that shapes our Personality and future alike.

Therefore, " it's really a matter of pride to be well-versed and educated. However it is a matter of prestige to use your knowledge and skills for accelerating and raising the intellectual, spiritual and emotional status of our society."

Be A Rebel- For the Right Reasons

Courtesy- QuoteFancy "Unless you stand up for something you want really bad, chances are you won't get it." "If you always abide by other's rules blindly, you can't create your own." Being a rebel is good because you create a haven for yourself, a world where people are free to fall, get up, make healthy mistakes and learn from them. Nobody is pressurized to be a perfectionist. Everyone is a romanticist where we create free-flowing patterns of theories and fields we hold expertise in. This is a place where a fire of innovation and invention is burning with intensity in everyone. This is a safe haven where people get goaded to perform better by watching competitors excel. There resides a wrathful passion and perseverance in the inhabitants. People flourish with the ebb and flow of creativity. Nobody is made to feel inferior for whatsoever reasons. We groove, gym, giggle, groan but never growl at each other. Once we promise our word, we stand ...

How to move beyond failure toward success?

What is holding us back from being successful? The fear of making mistakes  The fear of getting judged The fear of getting mocked at The fear of failure The fear of losing despite trying very hard Don't be afraid of trying, trying, trying till you succeed. Always believe in your potential despite a hundred unwanted people telling you otherwise.. Always keep the flames of self-motivation burning. Parents, please do not humiliate your kids when they make mistakes, Sit them down, respect their efforts and humbly tell them the lesson hidden in that failure. It is very important to learn from your mistakes and rather than cringing at them like a bad chapter, consider them shapers of your increased confidence and strong character. Stop listening to the voices in the outside world of those buzzing in your mind. Dictate them your achievements, no matter how small or big. Do not let anyone bog you down by reminding you of your embarrassing moments in the past, Sho...
