Understanding the psyche of a Kickboxer

The mind of a boxer is a kaleidoscope of adrenalin rush, effusion of fury, bursts of energy and conviction to test his limits for overpowering opponents. Kick-boxing is not merely a sport, it entails immense hard-work and struggles a person goes through in his journey towards achieving victory.

The mindset of a boxer is filled with a panorama of feisty thoughts and feelings. A walk down the memory lane and he remembers the beginning from a novice, an amateur with talent brimmed to the full, in the bones. As they say, beginning is always the hardest part, rest comes easy once you have taken the first step towards the goal. Before his first fight, he faces many speculative remarks, controversial statements from opponents, media hype and this fuels the furore boiling in his mind and rushing in his heart.  Actually, the aforementioned situations are faced each time he fights. However, the first time he is raw and unlearnt about the quagmire of politics that plagues every field of work. The boxer learns to make better strategies to fight, his moves, his flaws, his strengths, his weaknesses.

The boxer prepares himself well for each fight as if his first for optimists and last for survivors who make a come-back after a sabbatical. His mindset is like a maze of S.W.O.T analysis. The boxers not only learn from their mistakes and brilliance but also take note of their opponent’s moves, mistakes, strengths and weaknesses. They watch the previous boxing matches to identify the opportunities and threats in the game to better their performance each time.
A celebrated boxer has a couple of important concerns in his mindset. He feels responsible to live up to his excellently established stature. Therefore, he does not play merely for himself, he plays to represent his country, his fans and then to set the ring on fire with his glory. A boxer is not always judged by his celebrity stature. Each boxer fights with all his might, gives his 100% each time, gets up after each fall, goads himself to go on despite the injuries and hence each of them is a hero. They have an unquenchable thirst to strive and thrive by pushing their limits, exploring new challenges and overcoming with courage.

One of the lesser known thoughts inside a boxer is the care, support and concern of his family and vice-versa. The moral support of his family means the world to him. He cares for the welfare of his family like a warrior who returns after a war and makes up for his absence with his generosity of love and gifts. The family of boxers feel like in a death-knell situation along with huge optimism filled faith that this boxer shall come out victorious despite all odds.

However, there is a sportsmanship between players when they win and lose because a wise man said,
“after all, life is a fight and we all strive, what matters is how we thrive despite the challenges that strike us thrice.”

Be A Rebel- For the Right Reasons

Courtesy- QuoteFancy "Unless you stand up for something you want really bad, chances are you won't get it." "If you always abide by other's rules blindly, you can't create your own." Being a rebel is good because you create a haven for yourself, a world where people are free to fall, get up, make healthy mistakes and learn from them. Nobody is pressurized to be a perfectionist. Everyone is a romanticist where we create free-flowing patterns of theories and fields we hold expertise in. This is a place where a fire of innovation and invention is burning with intensity in everyone. This is a safe haven where people get goaded to perform better by watching competitors excel. There resides a wrathful passion and perseverance in the inhabitants. People flourish with the ebb and flow of creativity. Nobody is made to feel inferior for whatsoever reasons. We groove, gym, giggle, groan but never growl at each other. Once we promise our word, we stand ...

How to move beyond failure toward success?

What is holding us back from being successful? The fear of making mistakes  The fear of getting judged The fear of getting mocked at The fear of failure The fear of losing despite trying very hard Don't be afraid of trying, trying, trying till you succeed. Always believe in your potential despite a hundred unwanted people telling you otherwise.. Always keep the flames of self-motivation burning. Parents, please do not humiliate your kids when they make mistakes, Sit them down, respect their efforts and humbly tell them the lesson hidden in that failure. It is very important to learn from your mistakes and rather than cringing at them like a bad chapter, consider them shapers of your increased confidence and strong character. Stop listening to the voices in the outside world of those buzzing in your mind. Dictate them your achievements, no matter how small or big. Do not let anyone bog you down by reminding you of your embarrassing moments in the past, Sho...
