Women Empowerment Speech

Why are the crimes against women on the rise? Here's the root cause behind this increasing menace. An age-old traditional thought that believes that, 'A woman embodies sacrifice, high tolerance and one who was made to serve man'. It is the biggest misconception held by people in Asia for our brave breed who is capable of running the world with her immeasurable power.

Brace yourselves men, I'm here to awaken your dead hearts so you can see with your eyes wide open that women are the only species that was chosen to navigate the unborn cosmic souls into the mortal world by bearing the excruciating pain of childbirth which equates the suffering caused by breaking 206 bones. She lovingly brings the child into this world with great pride and turns them into a nice human being. This blog will bring awareness to everyone that there's more to a woman than mere pleasure and glamour.

She is more than just a mother, wife, daughter and other significant roles society bounds her with. A woman is expected to be infallible, personally or professionally. A hundred vices or desires of men are forgiven while one audacious step toward her dream is reduced to a sin. Our nation is witness to some of the brilliant steel-women who turn mere houses of marbles into a flourishing home with four walls that spell sheer comfort to take solace into. She is the CEO, Vice-president, Cricketer, Astronaut, Olympian, Social Activist, Youth Icon and more powerful beyond mediocre imagination.

Whether a woman likes to dress up or dress down, this is not an invitation to lure a pervert. Her clothes, her skin, her life, her choice. You are nobody to dictate her the rules of decency when you are an epitome of indecency yourself. Yes, she likes to put on that red lipstick, blue eyeshadow and shimmer because she does it for her Queenie self. None of your business. Yes, she wears a saree, ethnic suits or anything she feels comfortable in. That does not make her a vernacular. A mind so sick as to put baseless constraints on an enterprising woman to make her feel less than him is vernacular and outrightly sick.

Stop blaming women for the heinous crimes by saying she invited the wrath of the perpetrator or how could be so careless or her boldness lured the man. It is not just men who harbor this thinking, but women too. This blog is not against men. Not all men are the same just like all women are not the same. The purpose of my blog is to change our mindsets, perspectives and take responsibility for our actions. We pray to female Goddesses but forget to pay due respect, attention and care to the incarnation of Goddess made by the Almighty himself living in our homes. Whether she's a housewife or a working woman- she is the strongest pillar of every home. She is the backbone of every family. You are what you are today because there are unspoken sacrifices of a strong woman behind each step you have taken toward success.

Besides, why expect sacrifices, compromise, adjustments, patience and tolerance from a woman only? Is there are a dictionary that defines these traits as gender-specific? No, every woman has the right to put her needs, comforts and security first. Be it any relationship, only a daughter-in-law or wife is not the one to be expected to embody these sacrificing qualities because every member is going to shoulder the burden she is carrying on her head, for years. Today, go home and give the woman in your life a glass of water unasked, draw a chair for her, sit down to comfort her heart if she's stressed and express gratitude for everything she has done for you in a loving way you can find. Respect her decisions, efforts, credentials and emotions. This plea goes out to everyone to follow, not just men.

Remember, a body cannot stand intact without a strong spine...that is what a woman is. When you respect her, it speaks volumes about the great character and values you are given. When you love her,  you allow the entire family, home as well as mother nature to blossom into utopian bliss.

Amid the cobwebs of our hectic lives, these structured techniques become too tedious or monotonous.  So, here are some easy-peasy daily activities that are entertaining yet soul-soothing for meditation. Read on: Meditation could be writing, baking, praying, walking in the woods, hearing the birds chirping and rain sounds, dancing to your favourite rhythm, singing a melody or listening to a song that uplifts your very existence.  If you are too restless to meditate, try quick 5 or 10 minute GUIDED meditations in your chosen language. Or Listen to your preferred Nature sounds from a varied range, for couple of minutes.  Don't rush, don't push, don't force it ... Let your intrusive thoughts flow li...

Be A Rebel- For the Right Reasons

Courtesy- QuoteFancy "Unless you stand up for something you want really bad, chances are you won't get it." "If you always abide by other's rules blindly, you can't create your own." Being a rebel is good because you create a haven for yourself, a world where people are free to fall, get up, make healthy mistakes and learn from them. Nobody is pressurized to be a perfectionist. Everyone is a romanticist where we create free-flowing patterns of theories and fields we hold expertise in. This is a place where a fire of innovation and invention is burning with intensity in everyone. This is a safe haven where people get goaded to perform better by watching competitors excel. There resides a wrathful passion and perseverance in the inhabitants. People flourish with the ebb and flow of creativity. Nobody is made to feel inferior for whatsoever reasons. We groove, gym, giggle, groan but never growl at each other. Once we promise our word, we stand ...

How to move beyond failure toward success?

What is holding us back from being successful? The fear of making mistakes  The fear of getting judged The fear of getting mocked at The fear of failure The fear of losing despite trying very hard Don't be afraid of trying, trying, trying till you succeed. Always believe in your potential despite a hundred unwanted people telling you otherwise.. Always keep the flames of self-motivation burning. Parents, please do not humiliate your kids when they make mistakes, Sit them down, respect their efforts and humbly tell them the lesson hidden in that failure. It is very important to learn from your mistakes and rather than cringing at them like a bad chapter, consider them shapers of your increased confidence and strong character. Stop listening to the voices in the outside world of those buzzing in your mind. Dictate them your achievements, no matter how small or big. Do not let anyone bog you down by reminding you of your embarrassing moments in the past, Sho...
